If you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough
Don’t ever tell me that
she is anything less than time and space,
you would never judge the heat of the sun by the time it does not shine, cause without her
there would be no light, no life,
she might not see,
but, oh god, without her, we wouldn’t be able to either.
She has a body full of galaxies,
her eyes are planets by themselves,
she is as majestic as the universe inside of her stomach, she has
stars glittering underneath her skin,
sticking out like moles
and at dark, oh god, she makes a hell of a nightsky.
I have seen beautiful sunrises in her face,
her figure is molded in mountains and creeks,
in times of trouble, when her mind starts thunderstorms, she cuts streams into her wrists to lead away her rain,
so, oh god, all except her will stay dry.
And when her tearducts start to leak,
she is like the ocean without shores,
no cliffs, no beaches, just dark, bottomless water, ready to drown every sailor that asks her for mercy,
‘cause she knows,
oh god, she knows; air can kill too.
For us, she breathes out the blue sky,
she protects the earth in every inch of her body,
she has mourned for more losses than flowers found whithered on graveyards,
and her screams might be as loud as explosions,
but, oh god, thats also how the world was born.
“Monsters are born of pain, and grief, and loss, and anger. Your heart is full of them.-
And it makes you vulnerable.
It’s great here. It’s really great. Um, I don’t know… I went to this shrine today. And, um, there were these monks and they were chanting. And I didn’t feel anything, you know? And, um, I don’t know… I even tried ikebana, and John is using these hair products.
I just… I don’t know who I married.
